UK’s top landlord certification provider needed a robust CRM module to manage their fieldworkers, who handle property visits and certification tasks. The client provides a myriad of services, including energy performance certificates, gas certificates, fire risk assessments, and other property assessments across the UK and Ireland.
Assigning jobs to the right, available workers was a major challenge, especially with a wide range of services spread nationwide. Manually managing this process was time-consuming and prone to errors, leading to inefficiencies and delays. Moreover, it was challenging for the fieldworkers to track the jobs assigned to them and complete them efficiently.
We delivered a feature-rich CRM to help the business manage their fieldworkers using Laravel, AngularJS, MySQL, Google Calendar, Twilio, and other tools. Key functionalities include a job dashboard with job tracking, detailed order management, an editable appointment calendar, users’ personal info management, and subcontractor handling.
This module empowers fieldworkers to efficiently manage their assignments, sync appointments, and optimize communication with clients and admins. With the CRM, our client has enhanced productivity, transparency, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Fieldworkers can manage their assigned jobs via a comprehensive dashboard, that can be filtered by statuses: Open, Completed, and All. The dashboard presents a detailed table showing job-specific data like serial numbers, dates, services, customer details, and application statuses. Open jobs include unaccepted or in-progress assignments. Fieldworkers can mark orders as completed after scheduling appointments and uploading certificates, ensuring convenient job tracking and management.
The Order Details section allows fieldworkers to access comprehensive information on each job, including customer contacts, property details, appointments, job specifications, materials, and follow-up notes. Fieldworkers can add attachments, notify relevant parties, and schedule property visits with automated email notifications to customers. Appointments can also sync with Google Calendar for timely reminders.
Fieldworkers can view their scheduled appointments in an editable calendar, complete with customizable day views. Notes can include client visits, timings, and reminders. A blockout diary feature lets fieldworkers mark unavailable times, visible to admins for better scheduling coordination.
We created the scheduler dashboard and calendar to track fieldworker appointments, optimizing job assignments and scheduling.
Fieldworkers can add subcontractors to assist with jobs, with admin approval. Subcontractor details are displayed in a table format, including name, contact details, and approval status. Payments for jobs remain routed to the primary fieldworker, even when subcontractors are involved.
The “My Details” tab allows fieldworkers to manage their login credentials, personal details, payment information, and compliance documents. They can set service preferences, predefined by admins, and configure coverage areas using postcodes, ensuring future job assignments align with their defined regions.
