Gas Safety Certs (GSC) is a UK-based business that provides consumers and businesses with gas safety certificate services all over the UK. The UK government requires all landlords to get gas safety certificate checks annually to obtain a valid CP12 certificate or the Landlords Gas Safety Record (LGSR). Thousands of landlords contact licensed gas safety service providers each year to schedule a gas safety inspection for their residential or commercial property. Rather than asking customers to commit to a long, expensive, and complex process, Gas Safety Certs aimed to provide quick, affordable, and easy-to-book gas certificates. They have a network of engineers across the UK, which allows them to be on the customer’s doorstep for an inspection within 24 hours!
Gas Safety Certs approached DynamoLogic Solutions for a digital solution that broadcasted the advantages of choosing GSC for their target audience. Their goal was to create a dynamic website with an excellent UI, simplify the process of scheduling gas safety inspections online, manage operations efficiently, and increase reach by optimizing the website for search engines. We worked closely with GSC to create a brand identity, communicate the brand’s USPs, and improve the user experience of key services through a website redesign, Search Engine Optimization Strategies, and an Order Management System.

The project resulted in a responsive and scalable website with a user-friendly interface suitable for web and mobile use. The addition of a straightforward “Get an Instant Quote” functionality allowed users to schedule an inspection without hassle.

The main goal of the business was to give users a better way to schedule their CP12 certificates. We incorporated an easy-to-use “Get and Instant Quote” form on the website, allowing users to place their online order within 5 minutes! This straightforward form conveys confidence in the service and results in 10x more queries and conversions. Traffic increased by 77% and conversion by 352.14% from 2023 to 2024 alone! Anticipating the growth of Gas Safety Certs, we built the website to scale.
Gas Safety Certs offered multiple service offerings to 3 types of customers: residential, commercial, and new building owners. It was crucial to develop a customer relationship management system (CRM) that allowed the admin staff to manage online orders efficiently. The need to effectively manage multiple service offerings is common to many SaaS ventures and a task DynamoLogic has successfully tackled on many occasions.
To address this need, we created a comprehensive CRM that allowed the client complete control over order management. From the initial quote to the completion of the order, our CRM provides comprehensive order management. The system assigns orders to field workers, manages shifts, and automates follow-ups with customers. Additionally, it addresses customer complaints and queries, ensuring smoother communication. Sales data integration with Google Analytics allows for insightful tracking, while custom report generation offers businesses detailed insights to optimize performance and decision-making. Our CRM greatly helped Gas Safety Certs improve workflow, enhance customer experience, and increase conversions.
We worked with the client to integrate marketing automation platforms like Klaviyo and SendGrid into the CRM to create customized marketing emails and SMS based on consumer behavior. This allowed the business to convert potential customers in the pipeline, increasing conversion.
We created a custom content management system (CMS) for the custom Gas Safety Certs website. Our CMS has a simple and easy-to-use interface. It allows users to add, delete, and modify content on the website. Users can manage the content of all web pages, blogs, locations, resources, and testimonial pages. They can also manage banner and FAQ content from the CMS. Our CMS allows users to optimize content for SEO, provides pre-made templates for each content type, and the option to schedule or publish content on the website.

Since we created the website, we made sure to create a website that had an SEO-approved website and URL structure. Search engines, especially Google, rank websites with the right structure faster, making it easier for users to find the website quickly. We also initiated white-hat off-page search engine optimization techniques that focused on building linkable content – we created relevant blogs, guides, infographics, and other resources that were useful for other websites in the industry.
